Our Mandala sarees are inspired from the Sanskrit word “ Mandala”,
a circle which represents our relation to the infinite, the earth, the sun,
our circles of family, communities and friends - a microcosm of our universe.
The use of the Mandala pervades many cultures.. the Hindu Shree Chakra,
the sacred hoop of the native Americans, the Aztec calendar, the Tibetan sand drawings ,
and the Taoist yin yang symbol.
The Mandala symbol is also carved in stone within the Temple of Egypt.
Leonardo da Vinci’s geometric figures were derived from the concept of Mandala.
For Carl Yung the ‘Mandala’ is a representation of the unconscious self.
