This organic eri rich shawl uses the jamdani technique. Woven on handlooms in the western regions of India, each design motif is manually added by interlacing the weft threads using bamboo sticks to add individual spools of color to the design.
This wispy white translucent organic eri stole is embellished with sand color jamdani squares along with a stripe of god zari along the length. Parallel stripes and squares form a broad border on either ends ending with tied tassels in white.
We call this collection mishti, which means sweet in the local language. Everything about it is delicate and just right, as are the desserts from here, not too sweet, but just perfect!
