This organic eri rich shawl uses the jamdani technique. Woven on handlooms in the western regions of India, each design motif is manually added by interlacing the weft threads using bamboo sticks to add individual spools of color to the design.
This wispy white translucent organic eri stole has gold zari stripes running along the length and prussian blue jamdani squares and parallel lines on either ends ending with tassels in white.
We call this collection mishti, which means sweet in the local language. Everything about it is delicate and just right, as are the desserts from here, not too sweet, but just perfect!
