Fine Muga yarn (GI status), is ethically sourced from Northeast India. Muga is cultivated from the Antheraea assamensis silkworm on Som and Sualu trees. The natural golden hue of Muga is preserved, and no dyes or chemicals are used. The yarn travels to Kolkata, where skilled hands transform it into a finely knit stole, through expertise and knowledge, on a flat-bed knitting apparatus. The interplay of heritage and contemporary technique brings this stole to life.

Eri is a durable, versatile and enduring silk. With just a little care, it will last beautifully for years to come.

• Dry clean. Gentle professional cleaning. Eco dry cleaning recommended, if available.
• Avoid harsh chemicals. Keep away from perfumes, deodorants, cosmetics, bleach, stain removers and other chemicals that may damage the silk.
• Air gently after wear. Allow the garment to air away from direct sunlight and heat.
• Steam gently. Use a steamer or steam iron on low heat. Avoid prolonged contact with the fabric and do not use high heat.
• If damp, dry naturally. Allow the garment to dry in a well-ventilated space. Do not wring, twist or rub the fabric.
• Store with care. Store clean and completely dry, preferably folded loosely in a breathable fabric cover.
