Fine Eri silk, ethically sourced from Northeast India, and long-staple cotton sourced from the west of India, form the soulful foundation of this narrative. In a district in West Bengal, intricate jacquard weaving, where time-honored punched cards orchestrate a symphony of eri and cotton yarn to reveal a gossamer diamond-patterned stole. Delicate pigeon-eye motifs bloom across the surface, colored in azo-free dyes and rendered through an extra-weft jacquard technique. Hand-finished with corded tassels at the weaving site.

Eri is a durable, versatile and enduring silk. With just a little care, it will last beautifully for years to come.

• Dry clean. Gentle professional cleaning. Eco dry cleaning recommended, if available.
• Avoid harsh chemicals. Keep away from perfumes, deodorants, cosmetics, bleach, stain removers and other chemicals that may damage the silk.
• Air gently after wear. Allow the garment to air away from direct sunlight and heat.
• Steam gently. Use a steamer or steam iron on low heat. Avoid prolonged contact with the fabric and do not use high heat.
• If damp, dry naturally. Allow the garment to dry in a well-ventilated space. Do not wring, twist or rub the fabric.
• Store with care. Store clean and completely dry, preferably folded loosely in a breathable fabric cover.
