Fine Eri silk yarn is ethically sourced from Northeast India and entrusted to skilled Ikat artisans in Telangana. Rooted in a tradition dating back to the 5th century, Ikat is a meticulous resist-dye technique: each design is first graphed, then carefully marked onto the yarn. The threads are tied and dyed color by color with ago-free dyes, untied, and aligned on the loom so that every marked point—each precise chitiki—meets in perfect rhythm as the fabric is woven. The finished fabric travels to Bangalore, where master tailors shape it into garments.

• Dry clean only. Gentle professional cleaning. Eco dry cleaning recommended, if available.
• Avoid harsh chemicals. Keep away from perfumes, deodorants, cosmetics, bleach, stain removers and other chemicals that may damage the silk.
• Air gently after wear. Allow the garment to air away from direct sunlight and heat.
• Steam gently. Use a steamer or steam iron on low heat. Avoid prolonged contact with the fabric and do not use high heat.
• If damp, dry naturally. Allow the garment to dry in a well-ventilated space. Do not wring, twist or rub the fabric.
• Store with care. Store clean and completely dry, preferably folded loosely in a breathable fabric cover.
