Responsibly sourced from Northeast India, Eri yarn arrives in Puttapaka, where 30 Ikat handloom weavers transform it into our distinctive eri Ikat. Their mastery of precise graphing, careful marking, multiple rounds of tie-and-dye, and weaving, bring the pattern to life. Here, weaving has always been a family enterprise, with looms at the heart of the home and villages once alive with their rhythmic cadence. It is this heritage that is represented in the Ikat scarf —a contemporary heirloom shaped by heritage and innovation

Eri is a durable, versatile and enduring silk. With just a little care, it will last beautifully for years to come.

• Dry clean. Gentle professional cleaning. Eco dry cleaning recommended, if available.
• Avoid harsh chemicals. Keep away from perfumes, deodorants, cosmetics, bleach, stain removers and other chemicals that may damage the silk.
• Air gently after wear. Allow the garment to air away from direct sunlight and heat.
• Steam gently. Use a steamer or steam iron on low heat. Avoid prolonged contact with the fabric and do not use high heat.
• If damp, dry naturally. Allow the garment to dry in a well-ventilated space. Do not wring, twist or rub the fabric.
• Store with care. Store clean and completely dry, preferably folded loosely in a breathable fabric cover.
