Fine Eri silk begins its journey in the lush landscapes of Northeast India, ethically sourced to honor both tradition and sustainability. In a district of Assam, skilled artisans hand-dye yarn in an azo-free dye. The yarn is then handwoven in a herringbone pattern creating a subtle interplay of texture and sheen across the surface. Raw, open fringed edges frame the textile, highlighting the depth of hue and the refined texture of the yarn. Every thread celebrates the silk’s natural character, preserving its earthy, quality.

Eri is a durable, versatile and enduring silk. With just a little care, it will last beautifully for years to come.

• Dry clean. Gentle professional cleaning. Eco dry cleaning recommended, if available.
• Avoid harsh chemicals. Keep away from perfumes, deodorants, cosmetics, bleach, stain removers and other chemicals that may damage the silk.
• Air gently after wear. Allow the garment to air away from direct sunlight and heat.
• Steam gently. Use a steamer or steam iron on low heat. Avoid prolonged contact with the fabric and do not use high heat.
• If damp, dry naturally. Allow the garment to dry in a well-ventilated space. Do not wring, twist or rub the fabric.
• Store with care. Store clean and completely dry, preferably folded loosely in a breathable fabric cover.
