Inspired by the traditional Pajar of the indigenous Rabha community of Northeast India.
A red canvas of Eri silk is enriched with a herringbone handweave and geometric-patterned bands in Muga silk. Exceptionally strong, naturally UV-resistant, and GI-protected, Muga is a rare heritage textile from Northeast India, once reserved for the royalty of the Ahom dynasty (13th–19th century).
Revered for its luminous golden sheen that deepens beautifully with time, it is woven without dyes or chemical intervention, preserving its purity.
Crafted on a ten-shaft treadle loom.
